ACDelco Professional D204 Ignition Capacitor

The Moped I use has this spliced into it. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked. Condensers like this are affordable, work well, and are good. The battery that I used worked on my 1978 Motobecane 50V moped. mopeds come with the original stock condenser either right above the flywheel, or within the flywheel, which makes it susceptible to heat (which is bad for a condenser). My ignition coil could be mounted by this on my moped so it was the perfect solution.

The part I ordered was the right one, but the setup was incorrect. I replaced it with a new unit that still works and fits just not the same way as the one I replaced it with. ** My original was the only "one piece" that wasn't mounted sideways the fitment or attachment area was located at the back (instead of a 2 piece that was mounted sideways). Under the coil bracket was an eye that, when fitted to my coil, also fit under the coil bracket. It's now mounted on the bracket after some modifications to the bracket, and it has an "eye" instead of a ring. Due to my inability to find an exact replacement, the one that broke when I changed my leaking coil appears to have been replaced by this.

We received a different capacitor than what was shown in the picture. Despite the fact that it was shown in every photograph, the capacitor did not include the mounting bracket. It was essential that I obtain the You won't be able to install it unless you already have the equipment.

A new wire end had to be fabricated to match those that already existed, and the mounting hole needed to be enlarged to accommodate the new.
