I tried it in my 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 5

0 and it did not work. After I tried both of these (thinking the first one was defective), I found that both were working correctly. Each one gave the same results when I installed it, reconnected the battery, and turned the van on. When the idle cycle was quiet, I heard it getting louder, then quieter, then even louder (etc), until eventually it stalled while The number of stars in this review is uncertain. I don't think it works in my van but it seems to not work for me.
