It has been a while since I installed it, but it came with two screws for holding the rotor in place.
This distributor is not designed to have physical contact. 25,000 volts is enough to jump the small gap inside the distributor and the gap around the spark plug.
Your Tahoe will be able to fit this
There's brass in it, I think. The last time I saw aluminum, it wasn't there.

This part arrived in perfect condition and works perfectly. It seems like there are so many fake items flooding the market now, but this one was genuine. Having worked as a service manager for GM for several years, I know how to spot There is enough convincing detail in them to fool over However, this was a legitimate method and it worked fine. Nothing to complain about.
The Vortex project is a 3L V6 engine. A REVIEW FROM THE DISTRIBUTOR CAP continues. IN THE BEGINNING I MENTIONED. With Amazon, it is possible to buy each part independently. You can do it either. THE PACKAGES COME IN A SELECTING MY PACKAGE BUNDLE and selecting what I wanted and needed was an easy decision. The hardware is included in the GM OEM replacement part as well as the pre-bolt thread locker installation hardware. WE WERE VERY SATISFIED AND RECOMMENDED PART(S) REPLACEMENT OR A SERVICE TUNE-UP. VOLUNTEERS WANTED FOR USED AUTOMOBILES. I HOPE YOU ARE ABLE TO RUN STRONG WITH MY PERSONAL TIPS. PREVENT BREAKING DOWN AT ALL COSTS. THERE IS NO REASON TO WORRY UNLESS SOMETHING MAJOR HAPPENS, LIKE A FLAT TIRE OR DEAD ENGINE TRANSMISSION COOLING SYSTEM. My goodness, those moments that have been done that made me feel your pain are awful indeed. This is especially important for those on a limited budget. It can be a bit scary to work on your own, but if you do preventative maintenance, you will at least be able to stay running. OUT OF REPAIR BOUTIQUES AND OUT OF THE DISTRIBUTION CENTRES. A STRESSED OUT person. I am here to help, so SMILE, people. This review is in agreement with this statement. I am letting you know you can obtain these parts at a fair price and they are easy to install and are OEM GM replacement parts. YOU WILL HAVE NO NEED TO BE RICKED OFF BY A MECHANIC WHO WILL TRY TO SCAM YOU OUT OF PARTS AND SERVICES THAT YOU ARE NOT IN NEED OF. It is possible for you to do this as well.
Having problems with aftermarket caps and rotors of this style has always been my experience. The batteries will only last a few months and then I will have problems with misfiring. Therefore, I will only use AC Delco batteries going forward. In light of this, the rotor I received was fragmented. It was loose in the box, including the brass contact strip and plastic hold down part. It was replaced promptly, however the only fuss was that the old one had to be returned due to the loss of time. Everyone cannot be perfect, but how a company deals with events is what is important, and in this case, it was handled well.
In my 1999 Chevrolet Suburban, this was a perfect fit. You only need the small screw if you buy the cap, which has 4 screws. So I had a cheaper one in the suburb, and it lasted only a few days. It is true that AC Delco is the only product you should use, and I hear that from other sources as well. We installed this after the suburban started turning over, but would not turn over, so we quickly changed this out.
Produced in China at a low cost. The metal part of the rotor arm of my 1998 Chevy Silverado K1500 broke right after I ordered it from Amazon and used the genuine AC Delco part. I was left stranded within 200 miles of ordering the part from Amazon. Once the truck has been home and the 50 is paid. With a $ 00 tow bill in hand, I checked under the distributor cap to find a broken part of the rotor button. Never before have I encountered this within the first 200 miles of my trip. The cap and rotor button were made by AC Delco at a very low price. The product is not something I would.
It replaced the old part just like it should. I've already noticed a significant improvement in my truck's performance since I installed these items and the others related to the vehicle. Although it is a bit tricky to get to due to its location at the back of the motor, even a novice mechanic can do it. Please be sure that everything is properly positioned and that the wires all go in the right direction.
To my mind, the rotor should have been supplied with new screws with patchlocked In this way there is an additional measure of safety against screws loosening from vibrations or plastic thermal cycling.
AC Delco distributor caps come with new screws that have patchlock on the threads it would make sense for them to.
After rainy, damp weather, my old truck used to run rough and not want to start in the morning. Cap and trade is the previous cap & trade I installed a parts store brand rotor and now I know that it made my truck run rougher than it should and did not last. I will never use this brand of rotor again. In the future, A/C Delco is going to be the one.
