After installing the tool, the module didn't seem working correctly, and there was no sparks happening on the plugs at first as I described; however, I decided to make an experiment and did not get any sparks from the box while using the distributor I used to connect my Holly Server computer But the downside is that if you are computer illiterate, you will have a difficult time figuring this out. I would never have figured this out unless I read the instructions on my distributor (I was using the hyper spark distributor that came with the Holly sniper). At first, I thought there was something wrong with the module, but that wasn't the case. It was something I didn't do when it came to the distributor that I installed with the Holly sniper.
It's been relatively easy to set up so far. I made a mount for it to go inside my glove box area without having to make any changes to the truck. I took everything out of the glove box, including the black plastic piece that holds everything. It has a high quality feel to it. It has a nice weight to it and on the outside, it appears to be made of aluminum.
Multiple timing settings are needed at the start. I'm still not sure how to set it up properly. Holly Tech is currently difficult to reach; videos make it appear as if it's all plug and play, but that's not the case. I called and was told there was a long wait time, so I emailed the tech line, but received no response after more than a week.
Very good value for money, easy to install, and Holley quality.
It is simple to connect.
Great.
It was very simple to set up. My 1978 Trans Am's Sniper EFI is directly connected to it! Thanks.
