Questions & Answers
This module is designed to work with a Mallory E core coil; just make sure it's compatible with the coil you'll be using. Also, check the number of connecting pins; some modules have three or four. You may have to look through the information section of the instructions a little to find it, but it must match the coil or it will fail prematurely.
I'm not sure what coil number I had, but it worked well with it, so it should work with yours as well.
There is only one 4-pin module.
It's a difficult question. A GM-style HEI distributor was never installed on a Ford engine at the factory.

This module has gotten a lot of positive feedback. I installed it, and it overheated in 20 minutes, causing my car to stall. br>br>The thermal grease that came with it, in my opinion, is either bad or insufficient. The grease in GM Modules is doubled, and the consistency is much thicker. br>br>I'll give it another shot, this time with my own thermal grease, and if it works out, I'll give it more stars. Accel should provide much better thermal grease, which is critical for these HEI modules, for such a high-performance piece of electronics. Furthermore, even if you have sufficient thermal grease, it will only last a year or two. Thermal grease that is of good quality can last for up to eight years. If you purchase this module, you should also purchase some high-quality thermal grease. br>br>Following up, I used my own high-quality thermal grease, which appears to be working well so far.
In my 1972 Cutlass Supreme, I was having some hesitation. There was nothing that could be done to help. br>I figured out what was wrong, and this high-quality module fixed it right away! This is a fantastic brand with prompt delivery.
This was purchased in order to improve the performance of my existing module. What a colossal letdown. This one performed worse than my factory original. There was a significant distinction to be seen. Returning a product for a refund is in the works.
br>It was a simple swap, and I was back on the road in my Nova in no time. The only drawback is that the part is now labeled "Made in China. ".
After ten minutes of running, the program failed.
It works great, and the engine is very loud.
I'm still debating how well it went. It will be a plus for me if it lasts longer than the Napa brand.
I'm not happy with the product because it broke down in less than a year.
