There can be only one. There are 2 gaskets required for the water pump, and most replacement pumps include them.

I found the description of this product to be I bought this set in a rush to save a few dollars from the autozone set and have been very unhappy with it. The gasket only needs to be replaced once. There are no issues with the gasket, but I would have wished that this product had a better description.
If I order a Set of any item, I expect it to come as a pair (i. e. As we all know, water pumps have two inlets, so I can do with just one gasket. It's funny how things work out sometimes. There is no difference in the answers a thousand people will give you when you ask them what a set is.
I find this to be satisfactory because it is the same as the original. In applying RVT to the one that came with the pump, I damaged it. The combo of RVT and antifreeze just does not get along, and we had the end result of a red slime, yup, This one was stuck with some Elmer's adhesive spray on the bottom of the water pump, and it worked perfectly. I have completed the installation.
Even though there is a mention of gaskets in the description, what is anyone going to do with just one of them? This is very misleading, and very senseless! Normally, I would add no stars, but that won't work.
This was bought believing it was two for the price A gasket. In the package is a single gasket. Due to the plural form of the word "gaskets" in title, title is unclear.
It is what it said it would be.
The package only comes with one gasket. In case you are doing a water pump, you should order 2.
