I can't believe I got a lemon, and everything seems ok on the outside but I guess it's a lemon on the inside. It had been my responsibility to work directly with Canton's technical department to customize the wiring for my use. Several other components on our race boat developed problems soon after I wired this product in. After an extended period of replacing or repairing multiple items on the boat, I finally realized this solenoid was not working as well. The tech department at their company has been contacted multiple times and I have been given the answer that they cannot warranty this item as it has been over the warranty period, but that they could offer a discount for a replacement. Due to the fact that it never worked properly and I had made dozens of calls trying to diagnose my issue, I argued that this was covered under their warranty. The cover should be placed over it. There was a denial of my request. The cost of shipping the item to Canton and returning it to me, as well as the repair fee, ended up costing me more than I expected. During that time, it lasted ten seconds. The system did not work or bench tests did not yield results. Once again, I asked if they would stand behind their product, and sadly they declined. It is up to the buyer to be careful.
