I was unable to put it into the housing since it did not fit around the thermostat

However, they didn't fit inside the housing unit since they fitted around the thermostat. As a result, I had to purchase the program. Thanks to Amazon, I have been refunded.

In the description, it indicates it will fit a Suzuki Samurai with a The kit is designed for 3 engine. It fits around the thermostat but will not fit inside the manifold recess.

This seal at least is the right one

I can confirm the product is at least the right one, two local auto parts stores already have a seal with the "proper" shape, however, it has been beveled on one side, which prevents it from working. At least it is the right part but that is about twice as much as usual.
