The quality of the material is very good. Perfect fit is provided by these gaskets. All parts are riveted together as a single unit. As long as the installation is done correctly, there shouldn't be any leaks. As you install the metal gasket on the head, be sure the metal faces the exhaust ports. Intake manifold should be covered with the grey gasket material. The gasket goes between the intake/exhaust manifold and is included in the kit. Then you must loosely install the three bolts and screws. Don't tighten them The intake/exhaust should be mounted to the head first, and the center/inside bolts should be tightened first along the carburetor area, working out to Next, snug up the bolts. You will want to tighten the center bolts again to specs, then work your way out to the ends. You should then tighten the three bolts/studs that hold the intake/exhaust together to specs once that's been done. During this time, drive your car for awhile, maybe an hour or two, then check all bolts and make sure that they are tight. Some times, they need a little more torque after the gasket sets/seats after the gasket gets hot.

I initially received a gasket that seemed to be perfect, but Amazon kept sending it in a package that was at least 3 inches shorter than the gasket. It took me several attempts before I got a gasket that fit.
I like it.
I like how it fits. There is a gasket included for the spot where the two manifolds bolt together, which I like. Ford does not provide this gasket, and one does not appear in its parts list. We were able to wipe out a large exhaust leak immediately after installing it.
