There is nothing special about the gasket I received other than it being a cheap paper gasket. It has the metal seal embossed right in the middle of the gasket, as shown in the picture. However, I used the paper gasket anyway, and guess what, my exhaust flange now leaks! I am sure that the gasket will completely fail and the leak will get worse before long. If you want to get the factory gasket, go to your local dealer, spend the money, and then get it.
In reality, the gasket I received was NOT reinforced with a metal ring as pictured on the website. As the hot exhaust gases come into contact with the gasket at this point, the metal ring around the ID is of great importance. *The metal ring (pictured) is why I bought this particular gasket, but it was not delivered with I would recommend that you DO NOT purchase this product.
