There is nothing wrong with this exhaust gasket and it is wrong to use it on The wrong one is sent to me, or that's what happened. The package arrived exactly as shown in the picture, and all of it is In order to fit the gasket in place, it has a ring or a flange that fits into the deep recess on the catalytic converter connection plate. As a result of the degree of movement and flexing of the exhaust and engine, this flat gasket will not hold up to the test. If you over tighten it, it might work while idling. However, over tightening any gasket could cause one to fail. Back from vacation.

I was always honest, even when I broke a stud and learned the previous owner had done the same. For a short period of time, I managed to secure the gasket with two studs until I could.
