Questions & Answers
It is a mystery to me. Makes for great exhaust systems because I know how to TIG it and MIG it.
While it can be used as cold air intake tubing, it has a hard and stiff exterior. If you need to bend the tube, you will need flexible tubing. In the past, I made exhaust stacks for my hot rod truck with it. Aluminium tubing is easier to bend than steel tubing.
A tube has BOTH ENDS the same, so BOTH ENDS are the same. You can't generalize about it as being male or female.
There is no gauge that I know of. There is a lot of thickness and weight to it.

There is not much thickness to it. The wall thickness in the description should have been more important to me. The polish is fine, but I would rather it were thicker to begin with. Due to the thinness of the metal, you will see that the ends are not round when you get them. You can expect about 2" to 4" of material to be lost. There were several 4 x 4 foot pieces of exhaust pipe available at the bottom end of the price range so I only bought it since it was the cheapest piece. I guess you get what you pay It's a purchase that gives me mixed feelings. The device is nice and shiny, but it appears to be too thin to hold up. There is not a lot of difference in thickness between the metal and the clamp as you can see in the picture. When you get there, that is how it is at the end. It will be easy for them to bend.
There were other reviews that said the material was thin gauge, and that is true. The sole purpose of purchasing it was to test whether I could actually use it when I switched from my LS Foxbody to a Foxbody turbo. It would be risky to use this thin gauge tubing on my project. Those pipes on the left are 3 inches in diameter. Squirrelly Performance also sells exhaust tubing in 065 stainless steel, which I purchased onto Amazon. Pipes of that quality are very rare! As a result, the pipe arrived damaged and was 3/4 inch shorter than the advertised length, which was 4ft.
My primary complaint is that the pipe was damaged upon arrival and that it came 3/4 inch shorter than the advertised length was. It has been a complaint from other people as well. If I'm paying for 4 feet, please send me 4 feet, not 3 1/4 feet.
I understand that some people had issues with bent ends, but I had no issues. According to the listing, it is going to be shorter than 4 feet, so people complaining about that have no grounds to complain. In the ad, it is written. You can make up whatever conclusions you want about the 065 wall then again, you are the one who says it is so thin he cannot use it. As long as it's welded up with elbows, vbands, pie cuts, etc. , this pipe is more than enough for an exhaust. For the size and amount of stainless you get for this price, it's good value.
I spent one week on a boat, but I wasted a lot of time and energy.
The length of this book is the sole reason for its 3 star rating. While it is 4' long and has a diameter of 4", it actually has a diameter of 4", not 4' as described. There are 3'11 in the morning. A quarter of an inch is missing from 25".
The surface finishing is much better than I expected. A perfect fit can be found in the clamps. My 370Z will have a straight pipe exhaust with a 4" diameter. I will buy a second piece to complete the exhaust. The length wasn't measured in full, but just to be on the safe side, make sure you have at least one or two feet extra when building an exhaust.
Great quality 3" pipe manufactured in China. I always prefer American-made, but whoever built this pipe did a super job on quality assurance. In the case of my generation 2 Raptor, I used straight pipe exhaust with 2 3" 4' long pipes. Almost four months have passed since the system was There were no problems at all. Invest in this if you want to get the most bang for your.
Delivery in a timely manner. There was a bend in the tube at one end, so not four feet was measured.
