What is the best method of cutting this gasket using a vinyl cutter?

I used scissors, a gasket cutter kit, and I'm not sure if I used a razor knife

Maybe referring to the high side of the head is the right terminology? This would be called the valve cover gasket. Those of you who are not very mechanically inclined may have observed someone using a cork type gasket on the head, but that person may have been using it as a valve cover gasket, in which case this type of gasket would be acceptable. As a simply precaution, I wanted to mention that you may have mentioned the incorrect name of what you were looking for.

Only 9-points were on the sheet I was sent I found this to be about 3/4" wide, and it worked great for my use. However, if you are expecting exactly 10" wide, you might be disappointed.

Among its many applications where a gasket is needed, this heavy duty, thick cork material works great. It is more convenient to use it on my Land Rover Series 3 than purchasing pre-orders My favorite thing about it is that I can tailor it to my needs, especially when I make It is about 1/8" thick, and because of its thinness, it can easily be cut with scissors or a I just love how many uses it has and how supremely high the quality is.

Woodworking vices are used for this purpose. This clamp adds friction to the clamps and cuts well, appears to be durable, and has a nice thickness that won't mar the wood it's clamped to.

The Fel Pro line of products has been a staple in the industry for many years

a very long time. The issue I had was I did not realize that this material has a metal layer in it, therefore the material that is fine for other applications will be too thin for the gaskets I intend to make.

The prices at this store are much cheaper than those of the local chains Getting to cut my own gasket is a delight! Using spent rifle shells as punches was even easier for me.
