Questions & Answers
There is a sizing chart available on the Smith website. I chose the same size as my knee pads, which is medium. I needed a large, so I ordered one and they fit perfectly.
The small would be my choice. I'm looking for them to be snug and stay put. I use medium gaskets with large pads.
On the back, there are no seams. The sleeve is made of neoprene. I'm afraid I can't comment on the size because I don't have any to size.
No need. Straps on knee pads will stretch easily over your gaskets.

These are fantastic. In the 187 gaskets, I'm a small, and the same is true for these Smith gaskets. They're not as shapely as the 187 (there aren't as many curvy bits around your knee), but they're sturdy and get the job done. br>br>I'm a roller derby player and would recommend gaskets to anyone who didn't grow up doing figure skating, gymnastics, or other sports. I've seen a few people with a childhood athletic background who can play without a single piece of equipment and be perfectly fine 99 percent of the time. I am not one of them

They have some elastic in them, which allows them to stretch over the contours and keep everything in its place. For roller derby, I wear them beneath my knee pads. My knees seem to recover more slowly when I don't wear them. They appear to lessen the effect of the not-yet-yet-yet-yet- knee- Movements that are friendly For those who are interested, I am a hard-hitting, aggressive jammer. br>Just keep in mind that they aren't a magic product, but they do the job for me. Unfortunately, I had to buy them because of a knee injury, but they've been a lifesaver ever since. Without adding a lot of bulk to the knee area, that little extra padding goes a long way. They also maintain their elasticity quite well. br> I'm not having any problems wearing them under my 187 knee pads.
One of the best purchases I've ever made in roller derby! I'm a petite skater with strong legs, and every pair of knee pads I've tried have slipped down when I fall. ouch! That problem has now been solved. I was concerned about the length at first because my calves are so short, but I've had no problems with crossovers and my knee pads now stay securely in place- FINALLY. They're also a lot more comfortable and convenient to put on and take off than the majority of my other gear. For derby, this is a must-have.
I'm new to Roller Derby and bought these to wear under my knee pads as a supplement. I'm so glad I took the chance! Very comfortable, nice color selection, and it appears that the sizing is accurate. I got an xl and they're perfect for me. This seller is one I would buy from again. I would recommend it to anyone who needs a little extra cushion.
These were purchased to be worn under my pro derby 187 knee pads. They're a nice yellow color that's a little brighter than it appears in the photo. They do have a velcro section on the front that can be used with smith knee pads. These seem to make my knees sweat a lot more than my knee pads, which are always soaked by the end of roller derby practice. I washed them on the gentle cycle and hung them to air dry.
I bought these to go with my 187 Pro Derby knee pads, and they're great! When we do falls, they keep my knee pads from sliding around, and the padding is excellent. The only thing about them that I don't like is how long they are (both above and below the knee). I'm only 5'2", so they probably wouldn't bother anyone who isn't as short as me, but I would recommend these to anyone who appreciates their knees.
These are ideal for people who have recently suffered an injury. Knees that are prone! I was introduced to these by a teammate, and I am grateful!.
