Yes. For the bracket built on to the valve, you'll need to drill at least one additional hole in your frame, but it'll fit factory fuel line sizes. On a 77 c20, I installed.
Hose, 5/16"
It should work on my diesel pu because it's 12 volts. I'd put a filter on the inlet side because dirt louie doesn't like it.
If you're using a 5/16 hose, make sure it's resistant to diesel. Make sure the extra orfice that isn't being used is capped off when you connect the valve to transfer diesel. The valve will flow diesel out of the orfice if it ever fails.

My driver's side tank is pulled out when the solenoid is engaged. Because this is my normal setup, the solenoid is usually engaged, and it burned out after about a year. If I used the passenger side as my primary tank and only used the driver side for longer trips, it might have lasted a little longer. In any case, I anticipate a longer lifespan.
This was purchased to replace the original equipment. No modifications or adjustments were made to the old part before it was replaced. Thank goodness we were using the spare tank because I was able to switch to the default tank to crawl home after 3 hours of silence. I'm not sure what I'm going to do in its place. This item is supposed to come with a one-year warranty. We'll have to see how that pans out.
This is an excellent substitute. I'm hoping this one will last as long as the first.
I was having a lot of trouble finding the right part, so I finally ordered it online and received it.
When energized, the device leaks air into the fuel hose.
