I was concerned about the well-publicized issues with this part; it was far too dangerous for me to drive on the highway. I couldn't believe Ford got away with it without having to issue a recall. This was a genuine Ford redesigned part that was installed for $50 by a mechanic. It's working perfectly now, so there's no need to be concerned. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> Sorry, but I wrote this review for the throttle body itself, but it was placed in the incorrect location. On Amazon, you can easily find throttle bodies. I paid around $80 for the genuine Ford body. Because the mechanic didn't say otherwise, I believe this was the correct mounting gasket.
