Inspect the throttle plate to ensure smooth operation, and verify that the gas pedal operates smoothly. Check the cable to make sure that it's not kinked or bound in any way. I believe the problem lies somewhere in the cable. Make sure the cable is aligned correctly at the throttle body as well.

It's definitely one of the best products on the market The problem is that it doesn't bolt up correctly You will need to find a long bolt to attach it

It will line up, but it can easily be modified to tighten to the side. Using a m5 x 120mm screw cut down slightly with a nut, I hold the rod in place. Having said that, I would recommend it.
