If you have any questions about the item, you might want to call the seller? My cruise control did not work after I installed a new one thinking it was defective. Don't know what kind of problem you have, but I replaced it with a new one. My problem was caused by the new LED tail lights I recently installed on my truck. Now that the old lights are back in place, the cruise control works Thank you. I hope this was helpful.

Is the Tac module required to be installed and programmed by a dealership?

That's not the case, I believe. Taking care of it on my own was straightforward and I encountered no issues.

The kit is compatible with the 2005 Chevrolet 6 cylinder. Would you mind telling me how many duramax there are?

I bought a set of universal tires and had to go buy another set, but I would advise you to go with OEM, as mine didn't work well.

It is a brand new product, but my cruise control is still not working. As reported, I recently had my LED tail lights installed and that was the cause of I reinstalled the old lights, so now I can use the cruise control.
