Questions & Answers
You should install the splice to the black and white wires if you are able. Use a multimeter on the wires and connect the black wire on the connector to the wire metering to ground, if not already done so.
I believe this is true for both the turbo VGT and IPR Power Stroke engines.

The only way I would rate this product lower is if I was able to. It's a complete waste of time, don't even waste your time trying to plug in the connection. The internal wiring won't stay in place regardless of what you do. I'm glad I noticed before going forward, who knows how long it would have taken for me to realize that the "new" piggyback I mounted was completely useless. It ended up that I had to cut off this pigtail and solder the oem one back on on my own. The junkyards are a junkyard and they are a junkyard.
The wires are very easy to pull out of these connectors because they are very cheap. This was a badly made product. Buying this junk again won't be an option.
Well, have no fear. This pigtail replacement will work just fine. Please make sure you solder it correctly.
Despite the fact that the diameter of the wires appeared to be larger than factory specs, the shielding was good.
As soon as I tried to install it, I found that the female connections inside the plug pushed back. Prior to inserting into the harness, it should have been checked.
The following is described as follows.
IPR was satisfied with this product, however it seemed to be too tight or too loose. Is different from the OEM version in that it has a few more tabs. Even if I had to do it all over again, I would look somewhere else. The year 2003 was.
On my 6, the plug would not fit in the IPR. The quality of the image is 0 , it is extremely poor. I felt the wires with my fingers, and when I tugged a bit to assure the pins were secure, one of the wires came Your money is wasted if you waste it. Choose OEM over anything else.
