My first time using it and it worked great. These are great. I am very pleased with them. It would not start, it just cranked because the wires had worn through the insulation and caused them to short. It kept blowing the fuse that controlled the injectors as well. As well as the heat shrink I added to the wires, so it'll help further with keeping them apart. Whether you need new connectors or not, these would be an excellent choice. According to my truck, the black wire on the new connectors is the power wire and the red is the ground wire. When you are doing something like this for the first time, use a wiring diagram to assist you.

The original factory wire from a 2008 Ford Expedition broke off - I bought this based on the There are really long lead wires - I love it It was necessary for me to repair that extra length. In total, the wiring into the factory harness took about 10 minutes to complete. The problem is solved with the addition of some heat shrink and electrical tape. The engine misfire code was cleared and the battery runs as it should. Since replacing these, it hasn't tripped any more. It was my intention to have 7 more spares in case the issue arises with a different.

My 2003 Ford Expedition 4's fuel injectors need to be changed, so I changed them. It was a 6 L and the original pigtails broke so I got these and they fit better than the originals, I used thermanal wire splice connectors and electrical tape it was easy to do and I would recommend this as a buy.
