It is, in fact, for a carbureted engine.
It will, at least as far as I know. Any small block should be able to use it.
If this is about the fuel pump, you should probably wait, because I'm having a fuel stumble on the top end that I haven't had a chance to investigate, but I'm thinking it might be this cheap ass pump.

The car would not start after sitting for several weeks due to a lack of fuel to the carburetor. The car started right up after I primed the carburetor. The car started after sitting overnight and drove 200 feet before stalling and refusing to start. I pried the carb open again and it started right up and idled until it reached operating temperature. The pump appears to be reversing direction, sucking gas from the carburetor. I'm unable to return because the 30-day window has passed.
There was a big scratch on it when it arrived! It's just like my edelbroch! My old pump's chrome was not applied as well as this one. I wish I had more time to return it for an exchange, but I was itching to go for a ride! Lol.
It's reasonably priced. Nice job on the final product. It's not too heavy. *BECAUSE THE PEDESTAL IS THICKER THAN THE OEM PUMP IT REPLACED, LONGER MOUNTING BOLTS ARE REQUIRED (0. 5" X 2). br>IN ADDITION, THE INLET THE OUTLET PORTS ON YOUR NEW PUMP MAY BE AT A DIFFERENT ANGLE THAN ON YOUR OLD PUMP, REQUIRING ALTERATION OF YOUR HARD FUEL LINE. )br>THREE GASKETS ARE INCLUDED. Actual testing has yet to be completed. br>.
I liked how well the pump worked and how adjustable it was, but the photos gave me the impression that it had a return system outlet. It's a little deceptive, to be sure.
I would purchase it once more. Original bolts are too short and should be replaced with the pump.
Chrome pump with a nice appearance. It was easy to install and use.
Despite the fact that the part did not fit, the quality of the part was satisfactory. The packaging and refund process were both excellent. thank you.
It's a good pump that does what it's supposed to do.
