For the lid to fully open, you'll need to notch the rear lip on each side slightly. It will close just barely, giving it the appearance of a sleeper stock. Only Weber or Dellorto will work with this. 40's Looks KILLER! My CB Performance 1915cc RUNS AMAZING up to 8,000 (REDLINED@6,500 for Street) and I use it as a daily driver with elastic filter booties to keep out harmful material, GOOD LUCK.
