Questions & Answers

Is there a version for Tecumseh HS50 that can be adjusted? There is no barb for primer shown in the picture, but the reviewer says that it would be nice if it were. Would you mind telling me which one it is?

Despite not knowing what the adjustable feature is like, I am certain that the barb for the primer exists

Is the barb fitting for the return primer bulb return on this kit, or are the tank supply and return tube connected separately?

There is a fitting on this line for primer. Priming is carried out via a hose which is connected to the As soon as you push the primer, it pressurizes the carburetor. By pushing raw gas into the carb's throat, the float bowel lets raw gas flow through. It's easier to start if you replace the gaskets in the float bowel if the primer bulb or hose are cracked. If it still doesn't prime, inspect it carefully for cracks.

Troybuilt specifies the engine as 752t067514, which is cross referenced with the Tecumseh hssk50 on Havetroybuilt 31as6bn2711. Would that work?

The answer is yes. Mine has the same hssk50 engine model, and the parts fit perfectly.

Could you please tell me what model I have? What is the dormancy rating of the Troy bilt junior tiller? The horsepower is. I need to replace my carburetor. I don't know which one to choose. The motor numbers are H540- Can you please tell me what 55580k sep0053 B is?

Exactly what I was looking for

Gas was leaking from the carburetor of a snowblower I owned. I just didn't like it because it was There were no good seals at all. I could have spent $8 on a carb rebuild kit and spent 2 hours tearing it apart and replacing the parts with new ones. As an alternative. A new carb takes about 10 minutes to swap out, so I could spend $12 on a new carb. In other words, I did what I had to. Once the snowblower was installed, it instantly started and ran like a dream. As opposed to the original carb, this one is not adjustable. The effect seems to be working for me, but that made me nervous. As I stated in July, the repair was completed. There was 93 degrees outside when we started. We'll see how it works on a cold start when it's 27 degrees and Still, I'm fairly satisfied with the result. The only problem is that it does not have a movable fuel line connector. There is no way to move it because it's angled in a specific direction. Because of the angle it was at when I attached the fuel line, I had to reroute the fuel line to make it a more natural angle.

A good carb for the price
5/5

I used this to replace the carb on a 95 MTD snow blower I picked up off Craigslist. I was having issues with the snow blower bogging out under load and just running poorly. The spark plug, fuel line, carb, and the gasket where the carb attaches are the first part of the car that I will replace. In my case, I replaced the fuel line and plug as I could obtain them at the local big box store. However, there was still a bug where it would bog down. This carb was installed earlier today after I ordered it. A large part of the bogging problem has been It is nice to have a self-adjusting jet, which seems to adjust fairly quickly. I bought this for under $30. The only issues that I have found are with the seals, since every one I have seen has been flattened from drying out and breaking apart. I have attached photos of my old and new carb(old carb on the left, new carb on the I will give my seller's specifics since they can be specific to each seller With a shovel. You cannot be certain that it will be the same despite the fact that it will.

The 886540 5HP Snow Blower isn't working, but the original one I had worked The 5-star rating of these has not stood the test of time
3/5

Each worked satisfactorily for one season but failed to perform well the following season, with hard to start and stalling a constant problem until the machine reached the hot temperature. . . which takes about 20 minutes. It took minutes to run, and there were a lot of choke adjustments. Tecumseh trademarks were not used for any of the samples. The title of this section is misleading since all of the samples were There is no explanation for why they last for so little time and why they look so different after a season of no more than ten uses. My only choice is to use fresh, nonperishable food When you store the machine indoors and use ethanol fuel, nothing changes except that you bring it outside, you add new fuel and you try to start it again, so the problem is with the carburetor. In the past few years, I have also rebuilt the machine pretty much from top to bottom, from the muffler to the air intake filter. If the machine is well warmed, it will run and idle just as it does if a new carb is installed in the warmer months, so it isn't really a cold weather carb, but that is when I seem to get my most Over the last six years, I have replaced the carburetor every year With these three and others I purchased from another site, I've worked with them for years. If you have complained that the carbs are Chinese junk, I'll say good luck finding an OEM Tecumseh carb and/or one that is not Chinese made. The carburetor on my tiller was recently replaced, and I paid more for a "Genuine" Briggs & Stratton unit Though it was in a B&N set up, it came with a stratton carburetor Even though it was stamped made in China on the carb body, the box still said S box. As of now, I'm going back to the OEM style adjustable carb being able to set both the idle and high speed is a major benefit when trying to get it started and not to stall when I engage the auger or drive. During the winter, when it is cold and snowing or when temperature is in the 20's and the sun is out, the inability to get the machine started and run for longer than a couple of seconds is frustrating until it warms up enough to function It's likely Murray knew what they were doing when they wrote the design with an adjustable carb many years ago, so I'll pass on that one as well The adjustable ones everyone claims are a compatible replacement, and I feel it's time that I share my experiences with this product over the past few years. When an engine tends to stall under load or does not accelerate properly, the high speed screw can usually be adjusted to correct the problem. When the machine cannot adjust to what the carb is delivering, you have to wait it out until it adjusts to it and this is the opposite of what an engine should do. . . it's like having a machine that is out of adjustment, not tuned. It's adjustable, carb on your car, and it needs to run at 20 mph or higher You have to wait a few minutes before you can engage a gear and begin After breaking in my '99 Expedition on cold mornings, it started easily once it warmed up and I couldn't pinpoint the issue with all the easy solutions, so I looked at the fuel pump in the tank and that worked and I'm getting 4 mpg more. The MPEG format. This may not be the best analogy, but that of a bum operating engine, without the benefit of a computer and A fuel tank is likely to be connected to an electronic component between the fuel tank and It's neither a yes nor a no As with almost anything, carbs worked fine when installed in warmer weather or for short periods of time, but I found that replacing one every season for no known reason to be a bad idea, time consuming and costly. . . but I could be wrong. The carburetor in my 20-inch has just been upgraded to an adjustable one Having a new adjustable one is a big improvement for me since I cannot believe how powerful I have and how smoothly it runs at both idle and high speeds. Anyway, whatever the issue was with these, I hope not to have it with my new adjustable one. . . As a result, the problem seems to have been resolved by being able to control the amount of fuel delivered when running at In order to rebuild or replace something. Isn't that what we want to know? opted for a rebuild because it seemed the least expensive. I tried that too, but it did not work, so I'm reviewing both a 632107A carb and a 31840 carb in this review.

It's a great way to revive the engine of an old car for a relatively low cost! In this case, we brought back a 1986 MTD Snowflite blower that had been poorly running for years
5/5

In addition, you can buy it This is twenty! To have someone else rebuild the original or to have someone rebuild it for you would have been a waste of time. Moreover, this one IS fitted with a FIRST BULB BARB! It seems that another reviewer was wrong about it not doing so. I started on the very first pull after priming the carb! A properly mixed exhaust smells from the exhaust as the engine doesn't miss a beat. I see it throttle up and down like it should. One negative I can think of is how a screw driver was used to force the spring over a tiny bit, allowing enough tension to be released, to fix this issue I simply used a screw driver and just pushed the spring over a tiny bit, enough to loosen it up. And there you have it! My problem has been solved. There is no way to know how long the Chinese internals will last until they are put through their paces.

The Craftsman 536 was the perfect fit for me
5/5

A snowblower with the model number 886121. Luckily, I found a bargain on a used snowblower that would only run after I turned on the choke. This led me to think it was a carb issue and I planned on buying a snowblower and trying to take it apart. Then I found this on Amazon for about twenty dollars. Is it possible that I cleaned out the carburetor? Yes, of course. You got it back together now? I think maybe. A brand new one is worth its price, but is it worth the cost? I think so. I had a relatively easy time installing it. Simply remove the intake right off the cylinder head and you will avoid a lot of frustration. A pair of large Phillips screws is all that's needed. By doing so, carbs can be switched more easily. As a result, you will have to deal with bolts spinning and then take it all apart again like I did. As I am handy and enjoy tinkering, I found this to be a fairly simple project. It was pretty straightforward. The best part was not having to buy new parts. The new version of her runs like a champ. The engine did not choke, it did not bog down and it blew a little wet snow yesterday without any problems. Get a new one, no need to use rebuild kits or spend hours cleaning tiny carburetor parts. I finally can confirm that the gasket comes with it!.
