The item I purchased was to replace an old float in a 30 year old My disappointment was heightened when, after installing it, I discovered that the new float had filled with fuel overnight and had flooded my engine. Within two days, the replacement part did the same thing. After I removed the carb to resolve the issue, I discovered that it was also filled up with fuel. I contacted Amazon and they were very helpful in getting me a replacement part. My experience as a professional mechanic should have equipped me to know better about installing this item when I saw it was made overseas, they list the Kohler part number but it is not a Kohler part.
