It is missing a There is nothing wrong with the float, but in the item description it says that- Included in the package are float and manifold gaskets for marine carburetors

It did not come with a gasket, however. The gasket is very important so I am very disappointed. Silicone Sealant repair was used for the gasket. The float was left in place.

Exactly the same as its predecessor

The Mercury Outboard WME is The 84 carburetor is missing its carburetor cap The old motor had fuel in it, so I pulled it out and replaced it with this one and it fired up immediately. As of now, it seems to be working. I don't know how long it will last.
