Questions & Answers
Float position (how far below the edge of the carbeurettor it is) in millimeters is indicated by the markings.
In order to tell whether what you have is a bad gauge, you need to measure the float bowl on your carburetor side to side and see what range of sizes it In cases where the gauge description does not specify the largest and smallest sizes, you can measure, blow up a picture, and use the mm scale on the arm to gauge the top bar, which will inform you of how wide or narrow the gauge can be. It is necessary for the 2 short arms to rest on the edges of the float bowl, and the top (long) arm to reach across the float bowl so the small, movable L-shaped handle can be hooked on to the bottom arm Float is in contact with the arm-shaped piece. It is my hope that this will be helpful.
If the carb has a float, then it should work on an atv. I have only used it on motorcycles, but it should work on atvs as well.
This is easy to use when I was using my Honda cb. Using it on your site is easy as long as you have a float and a tab.

This tool is perfect for adjusting float levels. In my experience, it is much faster and easier to use than calipers for carburetors on motorcycles and ATVs. In addition, I use this tool to test my float heights, which has been accurate every time. A bit expensive for what it does, but it really is time-saving.
I like it very much. This tool will stay at the height you choose, so you do not have to worry about it falling down on you, making it a lot easier to check height and measure again. I used it to measure the float height on my Honda CB360 and the measurement was accurate. Tool that did the job, easy to use, and did the job well.
There's not much difference in quality between them. As far as gauges go, this one works well. I am extremely satisfied with this product. Although it is of low quality, it is sturdy and highly functional. The next time I need it, I will get another one, but if I do need a new one, I would not hesitate to get another one. My only issue with the pattern is the measurement marks. They are clearly marked but I just think they could be more clearly marked and really that comes down to my personal preference. Because of this, I only gave the game a 4 star rating.
Using this device keeps you from having to go to a mechanic to fix your motorcycle. You can learn how to use this gauge by watching videos and looking at pictures online.
A caliper confirmed that the measurements are correct, although the sturdiness of the frame could be better.
In the past, I have had to adjust the floats a few times after performing a carb rejet. In comparison to a tube or ruler, I find the tool to be much easier to use for checking.
Having it at your disposal is an important part of your job. You have to know how to use it to get the most out of think that these are highly overpriced, but what are you going to do when you need them?.
An accurate read out is obtained by using this gauge to bridge the carb float assembly rather than using a micrometer or caliper. It's nice to have the tools you receive with the guage to assist me in setting the depth and verifing the markings, but overall, it's a decent product at that.
