Which gasket is this - a paper or rubber one? Do you know if the bolt securing the bowl has the proper gasket?

In my case, the larger gasket I purchased was for the fuel bowl base of my Honda engine lawnmower. The paper material is good and the fit is excellent. This was the OEM replacement gasket for the old one, which was leaking.

What is the fit of this to a Honda GCV ?

The fit is indeed good

What does GCV say about it? Can the 170 engine run?

It is a Genuine Honda Product. A Troy Bilt Power Washer with a Honda GCV190 OHV engine is fitted with this part and it is exactly the same as what came with it at the factory. For the money you were spending, it was not very good. The same content is available to you here on the website for a much lower price. A thorough search would have saved me money, but I didn't pay enough attention to it.

The reaction has been shocking so far

My first impression is that it is totally different in size because it fits like a glove, not sure why, but no leaks from the bowl yet. Not sure if I am still oriented right side up as my previous experience would indicate, but so far I'm satisfied.
