I couldn't have asked for a better fit for the cable. Furthermore, if you own a 2000-series vehicle, this is the PERFECT grommet. ish Civic and want to use the factory hole on the bottom right hand side, below the battery, with the rubber seal on top that Honda provides. It's the perfect match. Apply a small amount of RTV/silicone to the surface that touches the exterior firewall (there's a slight recess in the plastic stud to keep it even) and you're done. It's completely waterproof. Now, if only I could run wire through that thing with my smaller hands.
