A great product that looks like it came from the store
5/5

A high quality catch can is what you are going to find here. There is only one particular version for the ND Miata, so this is not universal. One of the most appealing features of this catch can is that once installed nobody will know it's anything but a standard catch can. You should be aware that this is a difficult installation without removing the intake manifold. You will probably be able to do it if you have smaller arms. Realize you will have to do all the hose connections blindly. On a scale of one to five, I'd rate it as a three. I assure you that if you are able to display a little gumption, you will not be disappointed.

While it fits great, there are no instructions or video on how to use it
4/5

In the engine compartment, the engine looks the same as it did in the first iteration, but some parts were upgraded to aluminum since the original. In spite of the reference to angles and labels in the instructions, none of the tubes are actually labelled Mitsubishi. It is noticeably larger at the ends - those connect to the intake manifold and block. I'm working on a 2020 GT so I've got the club bracing. I removed the driver side and mid bar as well as the rubber brake booster vacuum line so I could just get my arm back there to attach them. Except the end you need to clamp on OE parts is press fit. If you don't have FI, you might not need to clamp it. There is no smell of oil coming from it. The first service interval has not yet come up since installing. Furthermore, I chose not to use the drain valve because I will be shifting to wider tires soon, and the drain tube pulls out the fender liner.

You should maintain the cleanliness of your engine
5/5

There may appear to be a high quality feel to the custom hoses and catch. As for the fittings, they are also plastic, but they seem of decent quality. It is possible to install a blind setup without removing the intake manifold (slim arms are necessary). Because I couldn't use hose clamps with the intake attached, I zip tied the hose ends after the engine. In addition to the included hose clamps, everything else is the same. My car hasn't emitted an oil smell or leaked any oil so far after almost a month and 400 miles.

It's easy to install on the I installed it on my ND2 in no time at all
5/5

A top hose and the sway bar can be removed to get the most out of the experience. Once it is felt, one is ready to go. Hard to reach behind the motor, but once you feel it, one is ready There was no need for an endoscope. Everything was clear with the help of the endoscope.
