Questions & Answers

What happens to it when it gets to ?

There is a connector under the engine cover (the plastic part surrounding the oil fill port) on top of the head. When you pull the engine cover, you'll see the old one. Just pop it up and put in the new one.

Do you change your case filter after a certain number of miles?

My 2014 Ram Diesel 6's battery reached the end of its life cycle. At 67000 miles, it needs to be changed. However, depending on your driving habits, it may need to be changed more often. It's a very easy process to replace this item. It is between 15 and 20 years old It is estimated that it will take 30 minutes on average.

The RAM 2500 6 fits the 2008 Ram 2500. Is it 7L?

The answer is yes. I am very happy with this product. It fits perfectly on my 2008

Cummins engine at the front of the Ram 2500 2017
5/5

I pulled this off the factory filter, and it was identical to that. It took about 10 minutes for me to install it in my garage using an 8mm socket and a * * * To reset the service engine light, turn the key to the on position (do not start the engine), press the brake pedal three times, then hold it down for 10 seconds, then press the gas pedal twice. Once you have turned off your key, start your car and check that the "perform service" message has disappeared.

It's the same CCV filter Dodge Dealerships sell
5/5

It took me about 20 minutes to install on my 2017 RAM 2500. A Dodge Dealer sells this exact same vehicle for $170 plus taxes. I will bet you didn't think the box it came in was.

Is the perfect fit for me
5/5

We removed a few small bolts to make room for the new cover. There is a 2016 RAM 3500 CTD/MC behind this unit, and it is a drop in It fits like a glove. With a few small bolts, the old cover is removed, and the new one is pushed in the opposite direction. The whole process took me ten minutes from start to finish, and I only used a rag to clean up while in the field. In case you have changed an air filter or your oil before, this task is totally within your skill level. As I was towing heavy and my mileage was 41k at the time, it was important to get the service done at 67k or less (yes, an odd number), but for the price, it was also good insurance to prevent fouling.

This product is perfect for a 2012 Ram 2500 6
5/5

It has a 7 Cummins engine. The part was great and arrived quickly, of course with Prime. I installed it easily. There is only one 8mm bit needed to undo all the bolts, pop out the old crankcase filter, and replace it with the new. As a matter of fun, I called the dealership and found out it would cost $150 for the filter and $95 for installation. For $62 and 30 minutes, I had to pay on this website. I found this program to be well worth it, and it was exactly what I needed.

Exactly what I wanted and at an affordable price
5/5

Fits 2017 Ram 2500 6 perfectly. It has a 7 Cummins engine. In terms of the filter, it looked identical to the one that came with my 2017 Ram 2500 6th generation. It is powered by a Cummins Laramie engine. 40K miles have just gone by since I changed my first CCV filter. In accordance with the manual, it is recommended that it be replaced after 60K. It was replaced sooner than expected since I did a major service on my truck at this point in time, so I thought I would change this filter as well. In the opinion of this reviewer, the only reason I did not give the product 5 stars was a few imperfections I noticed at the edges of the filter as there were some sharp plastic edges that were left unpolished sometimes from manufacturing processes while quality control may have overlooked these "small" My method is to clean them out with sandpaper. There were no problems with installing the filter and it fit perfectly. When this part is installed next to the Mopar part from the assembly line, I'll be able to see how reliable it is, compared to the one installed In my experience, it is fairly simple to replace it as long as your hands are not too I hope you have a great time!.

As soon as the installation was completed, the check engine and service lights went out. I would give it a 100%.
