The heater hose measures less than 1/2" from the exhaust downpipe and comes with all instructions and parts
3/5

The product was well engineered, but the truck needed more engineering before it would properly fit in. The only reason for my problem could be that my truck is a 2005 F-150 With the 250 Lariat with auto climate control, I don't know if it applies to all F-250s because I believe their heating components are different or if it applies to all F-250s I followed the instructions and used the supplied components, but the heater hose sat less than 1/2" from the exhaust downpipe and sat right on top of the rear injector harness, which seems to be causing To reinstall the heater hose where it was supposed to be, I had to get some generic heater hose and cut out the length required to make up for the Even though it doesn't work exactly as it should, there is still a little bind on the Mishimoto heater side hose and the O. E. hose, but it's significantly better than I had expected. It might be a good idea for Mishimoto to make the heater side hose longer so the adapter will not be needed. I also don't like the fact that the threads on the filter housing where you install the ball valves are not indexed. As a result, I was unable to tighten them properly and get them at the angles and orientations that they should have been. It would have been better if they had just come before They had to be installed because getting the configuration perfect was a nightmare, particularly My fittings are a bit tarnished from my wrench and the base is also a little marred after everything is If the ball valves are pre-assembled, I'd be willing to pay $5 extra The higher quality valves cost even more to install. As well, the item was poorly packaged and the coolant filter had multiple dents after being bounced around in the box while being shipped. The pros of this kit are the quality of the items that did fit, and it's one of the best-looking of the 6 coolant filter kits. The look of the 0 is very OE (landscape with road-worthy look), and the price is reasonable. The module will do what it is supposed to, but it should not have been such a hassle since it is supposed to be easy to add. We spent 3 hours doing it instead of 45 minutes. We recommend raising the price by $10, fitting the heater side hose properly without adapters, and installing the ball valves beforehand. If you install the best coolant filter for the 6, the 6. will work at its best. This is a 0 all the way.

The only thing I would recommend to anyone
5/5

I did not have any issues with it before and I do not expect any to occur I installed this quick and easy on a 6 in no time at all. This is a zero powerstroke engine. Perfectly fitted and looks like it just came out of the factory. Converting to ELC was done in conjunction with a fluid flush. My coolant had to be flushed for a day, and the kit took me 30 minutes to install.

While there were some leaks, most kit installations were simple, and the appearance of the kit is much cleaner than experienced major problems with the filter leaking when I initially installed it
3/5

The coolant covered the engine's engine bay after about 500 miles, and I realized I'd done something wrong. It was the first time I had filtered coolant, so I was sure the filter was clogged. When I ordered a new filter, I realized that the old one would not come In order for it to back off, I had to punch through with a screwdriver. In the process of installing the new filter, I tightened it a little past hand tight with the o-rings Make sure the ring is The second filter has not leaked yet except for maybe a few drops, so we'll see how it holds up.

I am very happy with the installation
5/5

This is an extremely easy to install product. The installation video says I had to drain a few gallons of coolant, but I did not have to. The modification that I did consisted of just clamping a vise grip on the heater hose. In swapping the expansion hose, there was barely any loss of fluid in the tank. In the kit, there aren't enough worm clamps for the whole installation. It would have been nice if the kit had included enough instead of having to reuse the OEM clamps. To connect the hoses to the filter, you get only enough claims. The heater hose also needs to be connected. I am very satisfied with my overall experience. It appears that the parts are of good quality. The only thing we can tell is how the future plays out.

It is expected that the brass ball valves will begin to leak Make sure your coolant is at the right level
3/5

In less than two years, the brass ball valves on this filter package started leaking. Overpriced, given the nature of the filter package's components. The valve is of poor quality. Does the warranty last forever? To get a new one, you will have to pay fifteen dollars. The "Shipping & Delivery" service It is handled. As a result, brass is unable to It usually maxes out around 180 - 180 Fahrenheit 200. In diesel engines, the coolant temperature is generally higher. In terms of the engineering of the coolant filter package, stainless steel would have been an excellent choice.

The quality of the product disappointed me
4/5

The only issue is the ease of installation. It was disappointing because I expected more quality machine work for the price.
The valves slid out of place when screwing them in. Having to work them back and forth with a drop of machine oil before installing with teflon tape was a challenge for me. It is necessary to trim the hoses. Ensure that the heater hose is trimmed. In the absence of this. In mine, I did not have to drain the coolant. You'll burn your hose on the turbo exhaust. My system was installed with hoses clamped off as is. Fluids were lost in a couple of ounces. It's not clear whether the quality is reflected in the price. I wouldn't purchase it There is probably something cheaper out there.

Kit is great, but make sure you trim the heater hose! Installation was simple and I'm delighted with the quality
4/5

I installed it on my late '04 F250 and the quality appears to be The most important thing is to make sure your heater hose is trimmed properly and not burned up by the turbo exhaust pipe. To unclog the hose, I had to cut about 2" off. As far as the hoses are concerned, the ones included in the kit are excellent quality and I like the clamp-on design. Additionally, the mount for the filter is very good quality so I would expect this kit to work as advertised.

The kit is exactly what I was looking for
5/5

Initialy, I had an issue with the cracks in the base. In order to get a replacement, I contacted the manufacturer and they made the process very easy and quick. Since I've been running this on my truck for almost a year, I haven't experienced any problems.
