It has been on my 2016 Silverado 5 since the spring. I have had a 3L since March and it seems to be working fine. I haven't run any dyno tests, but I am getting slightly better gas mileage than before.
The check engine light will go on, so after the light has been cleared, you won't be able to turn the vehicle on with remote start
That should be the case. On my wife's 2017 suburban as well as my 2017 Silverado with the 5 liter, I installed this intake. The third level. In about 30 minutes you can install the program. The product is great and the fit and finish are superb. While cruising, it is quite quiet, but when you lay into the throttle, it opens up and sounds great, especially if you pair it up with a tassel

A warranty claim was filed and the company sent a new one the next It is an awesome product! I'm using it on my 2018 Silverado 5! The third letter. I really like how easy it is to install, how it responds better to throttle, and how it sounds at the same time. When you're driving normally at regular speed, it's possible that you might not hear any difference until you step on The sound is really good when the vehicle is moving at high speeds. I like the smooth, quiet ride when I'm After I got it all installed, the air box didn't fit well at first. It has happened to a few others who did reviews as well. My air blower was broken, so I took a photo and emailed it in to their website. They sent me a new one the following I wasn't sure whether it was just a defect or whether it had something to do with the later models not fitting properly. The product I have created is generally pleasing to me.
stated in another review, there is no sealing between the inner fender fresh air opening and the air box. It is obvious that there is a It makes you wonder why such a high price for such a small There's even a factory seal on the box! Apparently volant is having difficulty doing so. I've sent an email to them to find out what's going on. All other aspects of the fit were fine. At WOT, the sound is fantastic, and at idle, the sound is not too loud. The AFM response can however be heard when it engages. A noticeable improvement has been made in throttle response. The MPG has decreased, which is to be There is more fuel needed when there is more air. You might be running too lean if you notice an increase in MPG. Volant has been my choice for 3 years now and I love it. It's just a little bit disappointing with the design this time.
My decision to buy would not have been influenced if I had seen the review by the guy expressing fitment problems. I received my cold air intake today and was rather upset to have spent the money on something that does not provide a good seal for the cold air. A factory box sealed in and even had foam applied to ensure it was getting only cool air from the fenders. It doesn't seal around the fender spot well with this cold air box, and it doesn't meet the fender well. Also, it has a large hole in the front facing side of the unit, which in my opinion is unnecessary, and another reason is why it receives The headlight does not have a flow of cool air behind it. In that case, I will directly contact the company. It's up to me to make what's requested so it can fit and seal better if they cannot offer one. Unless I find an attorney to sue these scum bags, I will try to force them out. After they responded to my complaint, they told me that a fix was on its way. I have not heard from them since they stopped sending the fix and stopped responding to me. The money I lost feels like it was stolen from me.
I am a mechanic by trade, the lid does not seal, the predrilled holes don't line up, and the molded plastic is inferior. The customer service is terrible, so save yourself and buy from another company.
I've never had a satisfactory experience with customer service. There were two missing screws and a crack in the lid. The air tube was not molded well, and there was a slight indentation along the seam, and the air box did not seal to the fender (about a 1" offset). I am looking for a crew cab 2018 Chevy Silverado. Upon contacting the company in early January, I filled out their form and sent them After a late February message, I did not hear anything back until March, when I was told that a new lid had shipped and I could add my own duct to connect the air box to the fender. However, there should not be an issue with Sometimes the fit is just a little off, said they, and getting the specs of all the vehicles is hard. It should have been a little more impressive for the price. Since I haven't duct anything myself, I have used it for the past few months, and it has worked fine, but the filter has become incredibly dirty after even just a few months and 4000 miles of pure As soon as I saw that gap, it became a source of irritation for me, so I removed it. As for the throttle response and the growl of my truck in response to the pedal, I enjoyed both of them. During this time, I did not experience any changes in gas mileage.
This is a very simple installation process! Fitting was not a problem for me. It looks fantastic in place, so I'm hoping it'll help me get slightly better gas mileage.
With this head unit, you can really open the air up and enjoy the sound of it when you are on. During the 18-year period It's also nice to gain 20 horsepower.
I have purchased a Volant intake three times now. It's as great as usual when it comes to fit and finish. It's hard to beat a closed hi flow system. When cruising, the front end is quiet. However, when you lay into the gas, it opens up and sounds great. It couldn't have been better.
