Despite seeing only a small increase in mpg, my performance was much better! It was evident that the speed was increasing, and the running was smooth! It's easy to tell when the filter needs cleaning based on where I drive! So mpg is about the same while performance is noticeably better.

In just over an hour, I was able to install the system after preparing it. After I got to the freeway, I took it for a test drive. It was great to see the throttle response improve. By driving at 70 mph and just adding just a little more foot power, you can hear the cool throaty noise. Now it is going at almost 80 mph. It's amazing how great this setup is so far. Any engine that needs to be given a new lease on life should try this.
It fit perfectly, and it is of excellent I love how this kit fits perfectly and doesn't have any flaws. As the air is sucked into the throttle body, it can be heard very clearly. Engines perform better when they have more oxygen flowing through them. There is a lot of value in this book.
It's a 97 Yukon, so I ordered it for that. A hole should have been drilled for the air sensor, but the model sent did not have one. When I called customer service, they informed me that it was an outdated filter and they would send me a new one within 24 hours. Even though I did not receive it yet, this represents good customer service regardless. At the same time, I drilled a hole with a 1/2 inch bit and inserted a sensor into it. Pick up is much easier thanks to this method It may be able to reduce gas mileage but it is still early on- The sound of her exhaust is pretty mean when equipped with a MagnaFlow exhaust! A good score.
Installation of the intake system is very simple, with only a few tools needed. I like how it sounds and how it performs well as well! I can only recommend that you search for a better instruction manual that came with the unit. It would be best for you to watch the video on the installation on the website.
The situation is off in a couple areas. This filter system was purchased as part of my 98 GMC SLE I installed the filter in about 2 hours and found it to be well packaged. Using the step-by-step instructions I was able to safely install the product. The next day I loaded a four-wheeler into the truck bed and drove it at 80 mph on the highway. It worked perfectly. It had an immediate effect on my power. There were step hills on the truck that caused it to shift up and down. This is an awesome power boost. One of the few things I dislike about this engine is how loud it becomes at higher RPMs. I have a different size stock air filter from the one on the website. The stock filter on my truck is wider and bigger than the K&N. I am in need of a I was initially concerned about the power gains. I noticed them after I noticed the power gains. In addition to lacking a hole to insert the air temperature sensor, the actual air filter is also lacks an air filter. In order to seal off the air filter element after installing it, I had to make my own hole in the element. The rest of this product is perfect. I would highly recommend for anyone who has an older truck looking for more power.
I will tell you the difference in sound, and how long it takes me to make it.
The Vortex V8 comes in 7 versions ranging from 88-98 There's not much difference between a 98 silverado and a square body Chevy, you have to get creative to stay on the throttle body since it breathes all kinds of hot air from the engine. You only get better sound for your $300 bucks, everything else is worse.
It would be great if the price were lower.
