Questions & Answers
There are many discs included in the package. You will hear less noise and more restriction if you use fewer discs. In addition, the further you use it, the louder it becomes because it acts like an open exhaust.
In no way in a tight grip
A little more than six to eight
There's pretty quiet even with all baffles on, so I'd say like a 2 to 3ish, the lowest being 10 and the highest being more than 15

I am very happy with my EMPI muffler because it is well made. I was able to fit it in the 2 inch midpipe with no problem. This unit comes with a number of disks (12) and all stainless bolts are free to thread. Antiseize should always be applied to the bolt threads to protect them from the heat of the exhaust. Supertrapp quality at a fraction of the price.
A terrific product, and I am looking forward to more details! Putting on the muffler was a breeze once all plates were aligned. . . only thing I would say is that it takes some time to align all the plates before placing on the muffler. You need to make sure that the cone side of the plates is facing away from the muffler or else it will be A new version of the update is available This morning I fired up the rail. There are 12 plates in this exhaust, which means that it is the most open and most noisy. It is significantly more quiet than a straight pipe. Very pleasing drive sound, and a quiet idle.
It has been my experience that most things under the empi brand are poorly made, this particular case was worse than most as the screws that hold the spark arrestor discs on broke off or only went into the case It wasn't a matter of ignorance, the screws are junk. I even moved a tap through a few burs to clean them, and still most of them broke. Rather than paying a little more for a spark arrestor, I would look for a higher quality spark arrestor.
I love the sound of it on my buggy. I found it both nice and quiet. The building is well constructed. There needs to be a better clamp since it broke when it was installed. In order to attach it, I had to weld it.
That sounds weird, and I am not fond of how much exhaust is blown about the place. Originally I wanted to talk about a Thrush muffler, but now I get stuck with this overpriced crap.
I think it's great.
It is a 1991 Civic. It is of very high.
A spark arrester was needed, and this product met that need.
