This was installed on the extended cab of my 2002 Tundra Limited. The factory mounts were a perfect fit. This is a more quiet option than the muffler set-up. It was replaced (along with the rear muffler), but since I purchased the truck used, I'm not sure if the previous owner used a muffler with more "growl. " "I saved over $300 by doing it myself instead of getting a quote. The most difficult part is removing the old components - That took the entire morning and a good portion of the afternoon. The new parts were installed in a fraction of the time it took to replace the old ones.
It was a perfect match for my Toyota Tundra 4 from 2001. 7L. It's simple to attach to factory-installed exhaust pipes. It doesn't need to be welded because it's "flanged. " Gaskets and hangers are not included, but they can be found as "also purchased with" at a local automotive store or popup. I made my own gaskets, provided my own bolts, and was able to reuse hangers that already existed. I am extremely pleased with my purchase and will be purchasing from them again in the future. If you decide to do it yourself, double-check to see if you still have a factory-flanged system, as many muffler shops do a cut-and-weld job that may remove the flanges.
The product was well-matched to the truck, and the sound quality was satisfactory. The material's thickness is less than I had anticipated. I'm hoping it will last me at least 10 years; the original equipment lasted 20 years but was made of stainless steel.
My entire exhaust system is purchased from Amazon's selections. com. I saved over $1,000 over the cost of having the products installed locally, and Amazon's two-day shipping sealed the deal.
Extended cab sr5 with small rear swinging extended cab door. Gen 1 2002 Toyota Tundra, Fits perfectly and sounds great in addition to a new complete exhaust. br> Very quiet at first, but now it sounds like the original.
I didn't expect much for the price, but the welds are terrible. I'm debating whether or not to return it, but I'm more likely to install it because it'll be on my 2002 Tundra, which doesn't require anything fancy, and it should last a few years.
JBA shorty headers were replaced with high-quality JBA headers. JBA high-performance catapults, as well as flow cats, flow cat- I wanted to bring it back, but I didn't want it to be too loud or have any drones. When you get on it, this matched up nicely and quieted things down to a really nice, full sounding rumble, with quiet brum brum brum at idle. It's ideal and affordable. BTW, I sprayed it with a high-definition aerosol first. To prevent rusting, heat ceramic paint.
Fits perfectly in a Toyota Tundra from the year 2002.
