Is it possible to get the gaskets?

They were not in the box, as far as I recall. I'm fairly certain there weren't any. As a result, gaskets will be required.

Is there a set of gaskets included?

The air pump did not require a gasket, but the rest of the system did. And it had to be ordered in addition to the regular order.

Is this a vacuum-controlled or electrically-controlled valve?

It worked, but it turned out that the problem was with the Air Pump Check Valve, not the part. Before you buy these, you should first replace the air pump and the air pump check valve.

It's exactly the same as the original part, and it's a pain to put together

It's the exact same as the original part, but getting to the bolts is a pain. There were no gaskets included.
