My 4" exhaust has a larger tip, so with this new system, since it will be tucked away, I wanted it to be even larger. As soon as I installed this I realized how much difference it made to my exhaust sound. It most certainly does! If you've been thinking about trying a bigger tip, you will definitely hear the difference! The person who wrote the review didn't loosen the tightening screw when he first slipped it on. It didn't fit his 4" tubing, so I don't think that they did that. This mod is definitely worth the money and a lot of fun. BTW, this device is big enough that it could literally be worn.
