The weld is good and there are no problems with it With a few heat cycles, it starts to turn a nice shade of yellow. The repair worked perfectly for my little bike. However, it is mild steel, so if it is not coated, it will start to rust rapidly.

I ended up cutting it twice so that it fit into my u-shape and flipping it around so that I could pass by a piece of the frame on my ATV. The cuts and welds are perfect.

However, be careful when welding because it is super thin on the outside radius. Keeping sections straight is a good idea.

It is a mandrel bent pipe. This tube is excellent. I can't ask for more.

It was easy to cut out the bends because the bends were very true, and the MIG welding was good.
