ordered this elbow to replace the elbow I got with the stacks. I had a 4" exhaust to dual 8" SOFLOM stacks the elbow I had with the stacks was too short. We were able to get it to work when we did some custom fabrication. I think this was a good buy in the end. In the future, I may paint. This is a very well-designed website. The heavy duty saddle style U-bolts I ordered were also heavy duty For this project, I recommend bolt clamps. They don't fail me!.
I have updated Even though this is very well made, I had to return it after having a look at the job, and I ended up going in a different direction. GOOD WORK!.
I ordered it for my holiday road trip. The OEM exhausts cost 1440 dollars. I got me two 90 degree bends and a shop weld, which cost me less than 160 dollars. The new exhaust is only a little bit thinner than my old one, but it only cost a tenth the price. The hole in my motor home is now sealed and makes it sound a lot better.
A nice touch is the expanded portion has cutouts that can be manipulated with a band clamp, or you can use a standard exhaust clamp.
The pipe was perfect! The measurements were exact, and the welding was great! The painting was perfect as well. The product is great, the seller is good.
The piping from this kit is of the highest quality and is an effective solution for DIY exhaust projects.
