Selected User Reviews For Beck Arnley 039-6468 PCV Valve Grommet
I like the fit of this top. I replaced the original valve cover that was hard as a rock and leaking oil everywhere. It costs a ridiculous amount of money for what is basically a rubber grommet from Honda. Honda is asking me for one of these, but I can buy five for the same price. Although I prefer OEM parts, for something like this, it is logical to go with this manufacturer.
The old rubber grommet was hard and brittle and no longer sealed well, so I replaced the PCV valve on a 99 Honda Accord LX and replaced the rubber grommet. The fit is perfect, the price is reasonable-- I highly recommend this book!.
I ordered a 2001 Honda Accord and it fit perfectly. I had to remove an old, brittle grommet that I had not replaced with a new one It had chunks coming out of it, so I had to dig it out with a pick tool. It came out in chunks, then I dropped the rest into the engine. If the valve cover was not removed, the engine would not start. The grommet was supple enough that I probably did not need grease to ease it into the hole, but I did put a dab of it on to ease it in. I also had no problems with my Beck Arnley PCV.
The old grommet for the PCV valve was replaced with this one. There was no leak and the fit was perfect. The price is excellent.
Our 2002 Accord had two of these, so we bought them for the vehicle. There is a made in Japan label on the engine. I was able to use the original hardened part without any problems. Installation was a breeze, and it sealed the space back up. I was also surprised at the speed at which my order arrived.
I bought this to replace the old one after it exploded like hard plastic after many miles of service. Shipping to our home was very quick. As far as I can tell, the one I received is.
This is true if your Honda Pilot needs its plugs changed. These are the ones I recommend you buy. We are subjecting the old ones to high temperatures They tend to crack when you take them out of the engine as a result of the engine's heat. I'd like to express my concern for the pain of taking out the plugs on Not having this to replace would be a big mistake. You won't spend much for what you will be putting forth in replacing your plugs and performing your own tune-up It's up now.
