Then and now I absolutely love them - they gave me the sound I was looking for - just the right amount of noise without being too loud! On my 08 Mustang GT, I installed them myself and the only hard part was taking off my old exhaust. The new pipes were easy to install, and taking off the exhaust hangers with the old exhaust then putting them back on the new pipes makes life so much easier when installing the new one.
In addition to the long tubes and off-set offset, I put in an off-set offset The rod is x-shaped After the muffler was taken out, I had a pipe for my 2008 Mustang GT. I was a bit disappointed because straight piped it was a bit louder than the drag strip's db limit. Easily installed Borla Stingers (took only an hour and a half with the old tips being cut off). Definitely worth the money and came with a Borla hat. They sound great and the fit is absolutely perfect. This was not what I expected.
got this set from the warehouse deals on Amazon. According to its condition, it was used in like New exhaust. That's all there was to it. This was the first time they had been installed. The tone is by far the best I have ever heard on my 06 GT, and I installed it in less than an hour. Besides a roush blower, cams, LTs, OFFroad H, and some resonators midmount under the car, my car has a few other mods. The tone of this Borla S type axleback is perfect As soon as you get on it, it screams deep and throaty. The classic Borla tone is just perfect for me. This is the best thing that has ever happened to me. The reason I tried several other brands first is a mystery, I should have bought Borla right from the start.
There is very little to no drone coming from these mufflers, so I have been very satisfied with the muscle car tone. It wasn't until I installed Borlas that I switched to Flowmasters. Despite the Flowmasters moving drone, sometimes I still miss their sound at idle, even though they travel at certain speeds. Having used one brand for a few years, I guess it's normal for a Mustang owner to end up wanting to try something new after a while. As for the Borla, I think most people would be happy with it. I will.
I am on the left and you are on the right There is a leftward shift in the right-hand exit of the muffler. However, the sound quality is excellent.
I like the throaty sound, but it is not too loud.
I was looking for a product that would fit my car, a 2009 Shelby GT500, but the product does not fit according to Amazon. com. It is possible that more Borla's could be sold if Amazon gets their (fit to car match) system working properly. Borla assured me that the 11750 would be a perfect fit for my Mustang when I contacted them directly. I love how well it fits and how well it sounds.
