Product Description

The cast body is high strength, and the valve is 50mm wide and made of stainless steel

The wastegate adapter can fit any 50mm Standard V-Band wastegate the top surface is anodized aluminum

This is a weldable flange designed for use with 2" OD pipes (fits the included manifold downpipe)

6.5 PSI and 14 PSI springs are included in the price of the barbed fittings

The V-band flanges and seal rings are made of stainless steel, and the bolts are easily removed to allow fast spring changing

I have a wastegate with a piston that is not sealed to the housing. I let exhaust out of the wastegate. In my experience, it should not be opened if it is not forced to be ?

This is where the problem could be, if it stays open after not running, your wastegate is not right, it could be dirtied and stuck. You can clean them, if it stays open while running, you could have a problem with your spring or vacuum,

Do you think this will work with a 44mm dump tube?

The pipe is 2 inches in diameter,

Then you add the two springs to get 14 psi or say the two springs are 7 psi and 14 psi?

The psi of springs can be changed by combining them

Have any of you driven these and if so, what is your experience with them?

There are about 200 of them The mileage on mine is 300 without any issues. With a power output of about 500 horsepower.

Looks like it is made with quality. Although I'm not a big fan of the clamps being cast, I may end up getting some modern steel ones before putting any serious boost into my LSX. It did say inspect (which you should do anyway) but I failed to do so and found there were still some sharp spots and shavings where they should not Remove any sharp edges that shouldn't be there by disassembling, cleaning it, and removing any sharp edges that aren't needed.

Make sure it is clean and in good working order before installation

Taking the wastegate apart and cleaning it is what you will have to do if you buy When the spring was installed, there were tons of metal shavings, burs, and diaphragm which were pinch flat on one of the sides. A burst would have caused the diaphragm to fail sooner if it had not been knocked down by me.
