Sorry, I don't have a precise measurement; all I know is that I used them to install the flexplate on my 1976 454 Chevy and they worked flawlessly.

I should've just bought them from Autozone or O'Reilly's in the first place because one of the bolts in the package was cross threaded incorrectly, so I had to go buy a whole new package from Autozone just to replace one bolt. They were both the same price. If I had received a defective bolt, I could have returned to the store and had it replaced.
I tested these with a file because I'm going to throw them away, and they're soft. I was looking at ARP and these came highly recommended; I should've known better. Amazon, you cheated me once more with your bait and switch tactic.
For my SBC 350, I purchased a new flexplate and replaced the bolts that held it to the crank. Why take the chance of breaking old bolts when you can have peace of mind with these new bolts for a few dollars? These bolts are the right size, length, and have lock washers on them. Apply a coat of red loc- tite and tighten them, and you're all set. Insurance at a low cost.
I'm pretty sure the bolts in the package aren't Grade-A. Certainly not a Grade- It will not be able to hold the required 60 feet. lb. torque. Instead, as you tighten them, they stretch even more. I was relieved to discover that I still had the original GM Flexplate bolts. They are clearly labeled as Grade-. Strength: 8 (6 lines); I used the wheel to clean and polish them. They did their job the way it was supposed to be done; Torque was achieved almost instantly. AVOID THESE AT ALL COSTS OR YOU WILL FIND YOURSELF IN TROUBLE!.
Flexplate bolts are supposed to be grade 8 bolts with six marks on the head; however, these bolts have no markings at all, so I'm not sure if they're grade 8 or grade 1. As a result, I won't be able to use these bolts on my flexplate. I'll have to rely on my old grade 8 bolts to get the job done. A very concerned customer has signed.
Arrived, and true to previous reviews, there was no marking for the class. It's not something I'm willing to risk. You get what you pay for in this case. Simply go to Lowes and purchase a 7/16-inch drill bit. Get class 8 by using 20 thread, 3/4 inch. Make sure you have lock washers on hand.
I RECEIVED THE WRONG FLYWHEEL, SO I DID NOT USE THEM, BUT THEY LOOK GREAT AND I WILL RETURN THEM.
These bolts appear to be, well, bolts, and as far as I can tell, good value.
