Although I am not sure how these spacers would work with that setup, these are for moving the exhaust to the rear of the jeep so you have more room for the front driveshaft to drop down
A 3 appears to have been assigned to the 2007 model. Those made before 2012 use the 8.3-liter V6, while those made after 2012 use It has a 6 liter Pentastar engine. In that respect, I would have to assume that the exhaust system used a different routing system.
Putting the TerraFlex 2 in was a good idea. I had a 5 suspension lift fitted to my 2015 JKU and did not need it. It is important to ensure the drive shaft clears the exhaust if you go for a bigger lift.
There are stainless steel ones.

If the cost of the repair is $50, you may want to speak with a mechanic. The task is daunting, but attainable. As my neighbor suggested, I added this ahead of a lift. He said, "If you are going to do a lift, put this on now before the bolts rust. " And that's what A shot of PBlaster took care of the flange bolts on the jeep in no time. To access the Y Pipe bolt, you have to remove the Y Pipe bracket. It seems impossible to spot weld if you do not have an air chisel. A regular chisel did not deliver the results I was looking for. In addition, I tried to grind down the spot weld with a dremel with a steel disk. Truthfully, at the end of the day. In my case, the exhaust hanger just past the spot weld had just enough give that it gave a little bit so I could get the spacer on the driver's side. It does not look like the exhaust pipe shifted back any because the crowbar created enough space. To get a better angle on that spot weld I had to take off the skid plate. However, it is a tight fit up there.
Once I finish the driver's side I will move on to the passenger side.
Voici a tip. I liked it very much. Voici a tip When you're having trouble with the clamp for the Y pipe soak it with penetrating oil overnight and then follow that with a flex head 3/8 inch ratchet and a deep well socket and you should be able to break it loose that way. Please also make sure you check for open box deals at Amazon warehouses. You might be able to save ten or fifteen dollars.
You do usually have to pay for it most of the time. I was not disappointed when I opened the box and found the heavy duty spacers paired with the correct bolts for the application (apparently the rugged ridge spacers don't always come with the correct bolts). There is a good YouTube video on Teraflex's website to assist you in installing these if needed, although it is fairly straight forward and I had all the tools to do it myself. I took about 45 minutes to get them installed and I had all the necessary One of the hardest parts was loosening and sliding the y pipe bolt into the hole, but a good penetrating lube made it go much easier. It is definitely worth it for you to use Teraflex exhaust spacers if you need them. They may be a little more expensive, but it is well worth it.
I expected it to fit properly. My bolts on the passenger side seem to be short. The instructions mention there were two different length bolts but all four of my bolts are It was probably caused by the fact that my nutserts in the cat were rusted and I had to pop them out to allow the threads to be driven into the bolts, and I used longer bolts and put nuts on the back.
When you remove your connectors and the bolts are rusty, they WILL break. To install the new bolts, you will have to drill the old ones out. Although the product is good and does exactly what is says it will.
People that have had their jeeps for a couple years may find it a little more challenging to install as rust or corrosion might have developed in the exhaust clamp or the exhaust itself. My spacer finally fit into the opening after using PB blaster to loosen it up enough for me to pry it back. The only thing they are are exhaust spacers, but they are beautifully crafted. Teraflex products are very good quality, as they have always been.
The 2014 JKU Jeep Wrangler we have is fitted with this. In our case, there were two. Installation was easy and straightforward. The instructions were simple and explained everything clearly. We put a 5" lift on the Jeep and decided to add this at the same time to help with driveshaft clearance from the exhaust crossover pipe. The hardware and materials are of high quality. This was a great addition to our Jeep while we were rock crawling through Moab, with plenty of flex and no stress on the drive shaft and exhaust. Great choice for those with a Wrangler that needs more.
The Teraflex lift has five tiers I recommend this if you have a JK with a 2012 model or higher. Dealing with the old rusted bolts from the truck itself was the most difficult part of installation. Take care not to force a crack in the flanges by trying to soak them with WD40 and take a torch to them before shooting.
