To get them to fit, I had to "extend" the bold holes a bit. This had plenty of meat left to hold everything in place, and the hole in the center lined up nicely and was the correct size. However, the bolt holes would need to be adjusted in some way for them to fit. There are tools that can resize the hole length such as a file, an electric knife, and a drill, but it is a pain having to change the length of the holes when it says that.
I have a 2000 Tacoma with a copper factory EGR gasket. There are some sorts of semi-conductor coating on a very thin sheet of aluminum OEM is about $26 and has metallic material on either side. On forums, people recommend OEM for this price. It was what I had at hand, and I have ever had good results with it in the past Our gaskets are the best.
There are no wrong choices here. I loved the fit and the quality of the material.
The fit and finish are almost identical to the OEM part except for the price which has to be replaced after removing the throttle body and egr valve. Remember you need 3 gaskets, 2 for the egr valve and one for the crossover tube.
This was the perfect fit. It's difficult to say what I can. A product is a product when you have it.
It is in the exact condition shown, not bent nor The condition is perfect.
I bought these for my 1998 Toyota The EGR valve is square on the 4L, and the EGR valve does not fit properly. Hole spacing on the sides of the gasket isn't sufficiently wide enough to accommodate the gasket properly. To make them fit on the studs, I had to cut the sides of the holes so they would fit perfectly, but they are not perfectly angled to make it fit on the studs. Having said that, I anticipate that they will work for the time being but will have to buy new ones to get a perfect OEM fit, which these should not have been.
