Since I have not used it yet, it does not seem to be complete with everything users
This is a boost controller, not a boost maker. There is no automatic reduction of boost because you are lean. You can adjust the boost level depending on your needs. To do that, you need a fuel management system or engine control module.
The instructions aren't very clear, and it's not as complex as you might think. With the Boost Leash controller, operating and programming the leash is much easier. My previous leash was a Boost, so I sold this one.

Set all settings to run 10 pounds pressure on a 7 pound gate spring, the operating pressure is set to 12 pounds, and in vacuum the gauge will flash OBP at idle when the pump is running. There is no way to reset through the A turbo boost sensor inside the gauge was found to be defective, so $300 was spent on the repair. I could not get any assistance from the seller because the seller only provides a month of warranty and I'm outside of that window by only 4 days.
The Turbosmart eBoost2 appeared to be the most highly recommended product and they were not wrong either. By using this device, you can quickly set your boost levels and you won't need to crank a knob like you would with a manual boost controller. Apart from the ability to set up six different "change on the fly" programs, you can also monitor the max boost, the maximum RPM, and the RPM in real time. Getting the controller up and running, as well as installing it, was very simple. offers easy to read instructions, and when I had a question, I called their customer support department and got an right away answer. That really shows how well they support their products. Besides easy setup, the unit comes with a light sensor that works perfectly in all lighting circumstances. It is easy for me to see the display in sunlight, even when the top of my car is down. It dims the unit to a level that is comfortable at night. Despite the whole controller's size, there is one downside it doesn't fit into small gauge pods due to its 60mm size. In the end, I had to open a hole in a replaceable panel with a hole saw bit. I drilled the hole in a panel under $70 from Ford, so it shouldn't be an issue. Here is a picture of how the center panel looks in its installed position *sigh*sigh*sigh [. This is one show you won't want to miss!.
Despite the significant differences in pod sizes between TurboSmarts and the other gauge pods, I had my car up and boosting in less than an hour after installing and reading the start up instructions. Besides trimming the gauge pod for TurboSmarts, I had little difficulty with installation or setup.
The product is fantastic.
