A week into the project, it failed

The check valve and the pressure valve are basically the same. Those wheels have a little ball inside that moves around and a spring that pushes It would either get stuck one way or the other, and I would either lose all my boost down to the 10PSI of the waste gate, or it would get stuck the other way, and I would receive 23PSI. There were times when it would work before it wouldn't then it would again. Once it got to the point that air couldn't pass through it, it would never pass through again. Money is too valuable to be wasted. Make the switch to an electronic boost controller, it will be.
