it was easy to do, just take the tire off and attach the bypass valve with 3 5mm allen head bolts and bracket. The old blow-off valve should be replaced with the new one, and the two should be installed Due to my extension's ability to allow only an 1/8 of a turn of each bolt before I had to stop to reset my wrench, it took me almost 2 hours from start to finish. The torture was cruel. Don't overtighten your bolts or they will cross thread. Tighten each one not all the way or they will pull on one another. Other than that, it sounds great and is simple to use. ****Edit for style Nevertheless, I was trying to get a turbo with a loud blow off valve for my entire life and was always sick of the constant wheezing sound. As mentioned, I have modified the tune so that I build boost quickly with the slightest press of the accelerator yet I can shift every year at any speed and accelerate up to the speed limit without building any boost or having that constant sneezing sound like some do. The majority of the time, it sounds fantastic when I actually want it. When this is combined with an intake, whipple and turbo sounds are generated!.
I like this product very much. A blow off valve of this nature would not be loud. It is a suttle BOV that only does what it is made for and is The stock turbo setup probably has something to do with this as well. While I didn't expect my Focus ST to sound like a 1000 hp supra BOV, it definitely sounds quieter than any other ST BOV I have heard. I actually quite like it. While shifting, it doesn't attract too much attention. And when paired with a custom Accessport map, it rarely opens and closes unless the vehicle is under heavy acceleration and
is shifting at higher RPMs than daily driving. It would be my pleasure to recommend It is a good idea to keep your stock parts to be able to replace them later.
First I used a grinder to cut the bracket down, and then I installed the screw on the bottom right There are no red bushings in there, since they are so small and are difficult to see, and they cannot be held in place long enough to make the screw tight. I really like the sound of that!.
I'm in love with Modifying the OEM bracket was simple, I used needle nose pliers and a dremel and it was completed in less than an hour. Obviously BOV is loud, which makes it inconvenient to use it while driving in stop-and-go traffic, but it's great to play around with when you have a little time. This thing was installed just now on my 2017 Focus ST. It is very Hissing at you is easy since it doesn't take much to make it angry. One knuckle got busted, but otherwise it was very easy to install. Boosts are held well without any leaks, and no codes are generated. I purchased this for my 2017 Focus ST and it fits and sounds great. There is a lot of volume and it is In the following pictures, you can see how it arrives, compared with the stock valve, and after it has been installed. It is not difficult to install, but frustrating most of the time. I had to spend almost an hour cleaning the wheel well because it is a cramped space. The key to installing Boomba is being patient, so I recommend you watch its installation video on Youtube.
