It's the exact same as the original and fits my 2003 Limited. It's very difficult to change out a slot in the top r/h bracket to get over the screw, but it works perfectly.br>

By 2019, this device, which regulates the temperature of the heat and air conditioning, will have failed two or three times on a 2004 Toyota 4Runner. It's impossible to reach one of the attaching screws. Fortunately, once you've removed it, the device is secure enough thanks to the two remaining screws. The stepper motor's gear is insecurely attached in the original device, which is the main flaw. The motor will no longer be able to turn the other two gears, which orient the two flaps that modulate hot and cold air, if it becomes loose. When a device fails to reach the desired temperature, it makes a constant clicking sound. The device can be removed and the gear glued back on the stepper's shaft for a low-cost fix. Hopefully, the new version will be more reliable. br>The part that was delivered works flawlessly.
This thing requires a lot of labor to install. It takes a lot of effort to remove the blower housing. I saved some money by installing it myself, but if it ever fails, I'll have it done by someone else. I'm hoping that this section will last another 200 years.
Replacement part is perfect.
For a 2003 Toyota 4Runner, this is a perfect fit.
It's the door that allows you to switch from air conditioning to heat.
It was nowhere to be found in my apartment. oem, without a doubt.
