In the course of rebuilding my engine, I purchased this timing cover. As it had been designed, it has presented multiple challenges the distributor hole was too small, and the depth of the hole was a bit too shallow, so either a thicker seal was used or the water pump would not work. My advice would be to buy an OEM part if I were to do it again.

Possibly this cover is for a different Buick engine! Please let us know! Mine needs to be returned as the housing for the oil pump is faulty. Gears from the stock are not compatible. However, it does not fit on the block very well, and there are oversized holes and a huge bore on the oil pump.
